I just learn, do it, and now share with you – The Import of an External Blog to my Notes Page on Facebook.
All my Blog updates in future will be automatically posted as notes on my FB Profile.
Isn’t this COOL! It is! And it is a great time sever for me.
The entire procedure is very simple, just follow the steps:
S1:
Log in Facebook, to find out where “my notes” are hiding, look on the left
menu (you have in the picture the segment you need) and click on More to expend the menu.
In the expended menu you will find my Notes.
Click on Notes. You will get a new screen:
S2:
Click on “Import a blog”.
A new screen will appear in which you have to fill in a form with:
- The URL of your external Blog or
- RSS feed of your Blog
Note:
- You cannot edit external Blog Posts from within Facebook
- I set up the Privacy level “Everyone” I don’t know if this is a good solution, but I like everybody to be able to comment on my blog, so this part is experimental at this point, some people force people who want to comment to go to the blog
This is the screen with the form:
S3:
After you fill in the URL, you click start importing, and a new screen will appear where you must confirm or cancel.
If this is the blog you want to Import on FB, click Confirm Import.
In the next 3 pictures you have the beginning of my 3 posts from my Blog on My Notes on Facebook. They are from the following blog:
Note: You can verify those blogs in My Blog vs My Notes on Facebook. The entire import procedure was simple, and the future updates will automaticalt be posted on FB.
To your sucess

Thanks Rich, I don’t pay attention as well, but when I learn how to do it and I noticed the automatic update feature I concluded that it is important to use it.
What is odd about Facebook is that we don’t have a solid documentation and we learn as we progress bits by bits… which is not exactly my stile of learning… but for FB I make the effort to go with the stream.
have a great day
